Abstract

This is a research report that emerges throughout the trajectory of GEPS - Group of Studies and Research on Sexualities, today called PsiCUqueer – Group of Studies and Research on Queer Culture and Collectives. Where through the engagement of professors from the Department of Clinical Psychology, the Faculty of Sciences and Letters, UNESP/Campus de Assis, several activities were carried out over the years. Here specifically, the event PAREMOS A TRANSFOBIA, whose purpose was to promote connections with social movements, in particular, with ANTRA – National Association of Transvestites and Transsexuals, and other collectives fighting and demanding equality and rights in different parts of the country. From the emergence of the claim to the right to love and have a reciprocated love, brought into the themes and approaches with this population, we were led to carry out our post-doctoral research on the topic, conducting interviews with transvestites, transsexuals and transgender people in Argentina, Brazil and Spain.
